I usually play the series spending my time to catch the underrated dimes in Pokemon, such as my Psyduck. I don’t plan on evolving her, but once she reaches Lv. 100, she will be soloing Cynthia’s team and will become a menace in the Sinnoh Region.
But WHY? Why do fans such as myself and others consistently return to play the remakes?
More Accessibilities and Features
From just a few hours of gameplay, okay maybe more than just a few hours, I’ve noticed the game was much more focused and went by so much quicker. From shorter battle scenes and fast-paced cuts, the game definitely improved its UX by transitioning scenes a lot quicker. This way I was able to actually progress in the story rather than worrying about training each and every member of my team.
Pokémon Box - Party
What’s new with Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shiny Pearl is the function to grab your Pokémon straight from your box and add them to your party. This saved me plenty of time. Instead of running to the Pokémon Center and back, you can do it on the spot.
Improved AI
Never knew what was effective against a Pokémon? Well, the new AI now shows what moves are super effective or not effective against a Pokémon as long as you faced it before. These little features are refreshing and always continue to amaze me.
